Process

At this time, Weft & Warp textiles are digitally printed. The process is much like printing paper, except silk chiffon is far more fragile than paper. The silk is fed into a printer and then cut to size. The hem is then rolled and sewn with the assistance of a specialized attachment by machine with a double lock chain stitch.

We are continually learning and experimenting with new techniques. Therefore our offerings and process will change as we learn new things. You will always be informed of how your scarf has been made.

We love collaboration. It makes things way more fun and informed from multiple points of view. If you are interested in collaborating with Weft & Warp, please send a note to [email protected]
